Thornton Successfully Signed MOU with China Science General

Thornton successfully signed an MOU with China Science General (CSG) to develop a Waste-To-Energy power plant in Changde City of Hunan Province, China.

Affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, CSG has been engaged in the Waste-To-Energy business for more than 20 years and has a sound track record in China.

Chairman James Bulger, CEO Michael Lin, CTO Bobby Babcock and Director of Operations Alex Cai from Thornton and President Mr. Jin, Chief Economist Mr. Tan and other senior management from CSG attended the signing ceremony. Representatives from Thornton's long-term business partner, Leighton Asia also joined the signing ceremony.

The cooperation marks a new chapter for CSG and their technological advances in the field of Waste-To-Energy power plants in China. Members of China Science Group promised this is the first of many years of new projects throughout many regions of China with Thornton.
