CCPIT Executive Vice Chairman Zhang Welcomes Thornton and SLLF

Mr. Zhang Wei, Executive Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China’s Chamber of Commerce, met with Michael Lin, CEO of Thornton and Steve Lakis, President of the US State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF), in the Council’s headquarters in Beijing.

Mr. Zhang encouraged Thornton to build waste-to-energy power plants in China to improve the living environment for the Chinese people. He also welcomed SLLF to set up an office in China to improve the dialogues between the Chinese people and the fifty states of the US.

Mr. Lakis invited Mr. Zhang to attend the SLLF and Thornton hosted Summit in Beijing, 2009. Many US state legislative and business leaders will be in attendance. Mr. Zhang expressed gratitude.
