Thornton Delegation meets with PKU President

Mr. Xu Zhihong, President of Peking University, met with Thornton/Rosemont Solebury Capital/SLLF delegation at Peking University. Mr. Wei Xin, Chairman of PKU Founder Group, also joined the meeting.

Mr. Xu welcomed U.S. guests and introduced the history and unique background of Peking University. Mr. Steve Lakis introduced SLLF and its plans in China to Mr. Xu and discussed the idea of choosing Peking University as the location for the up-coming Sino-US Summit in April 2009. Mr. Xu showed full support for the 2009 Sino-US Summit and shared a lot of valuable insights and advice in terms of logistics and preparations with US guests. Both parties agreed to form a steering committee for the Summit.

Meanwhile, Mr. Steve Lakis personally extended an invitation to Mr. Xu for the up-coming SLLF board meeting and the 2009 Sino-US Summit.
