Thornton Delegation meets with National People's Congress

Mr. Peng Fang, Director General of Foreign Affairs Committee of National People's Congress, and his colleagues met with Thornton/Rosemont Solebury/SLLF in the Great Hall of the People.

Mr. Peng warmly welcomed US guests and showed great interest in SLLF's 2009 Sino-US Summit. Mr. Steve Lakis introduced the recent updates on the 2009 Sino-US Summit to NPC officials and held constructive discussions with Mr. Peng regarding this event. Mr. Peng pledged his full support for the 2009 Sino-US Summit and shared a lot of valuable insights and advice with US guests.

Meanwhile, Mr. Steve Lakis personally extended an invitation to Mr. Peng for the up-coming SLLF annual board meeting in the US.
