MOFCOM Assistant Minister Wang Graciously Receives Thornton and SLLF

Mr. Wang Chao, Assistant Minister of Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), met with Thornton/SLLF delegation.

Mr. Wang expressed a warm welcome to the delegation and wishes to intensify mutual communication and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of clean and green energy, environmental protection and infrastructure. He also explained the trade imbalance between the US and China.

Mr. Steve Lakis, President of SLLF, invited MOFCOM to participate in the 2009 Sino-US Summit in Beijing which will be hosted by SLLF and Thornton. During the Summit there will be numerous US state legislative leaders and US business elites in attendance. Mr. Wang expressed his gratitude towards Mr. Lakis.
