On the afternoon of Feb, 20, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of Jining City of Shangdong Province, Mr. Zhang Zhenchuan met with Michael Lin, CEO of Thornton and his delegation in Guest Hall, who came to the city for waste disposal projects.

On the behalf of Jining Government, Mr. Zhang warmly welcomed the guests and introduced them to the current Jining. He said, rich in coal-fired electricity, Jining had many national industrial bases and convenient transportation of railway, highway, shipping, etc. Because Jining is located in the important section of Huai River and has developed rapidly in recently years, the environmental problems were becoming more and more serious and the disposal of industrial, municipal garbages and polluted water had aroused great concern.
